Waterbury was one of the 7 main clock companies to emerge after the consolidation of the post civil war period. They continued well into the 20th century and turned out many beautiful clock. I have only a few nice alarm clocks in my collection ("Rouser's") here but also have some round alarm clocks (unfortunately for those the metal pallette was switched out to an inexpensive early plastic that simply did not hold up and so they don't work anymore). These "Rousers" have a nice appeal don't they? I especially like the chrome accents on the sides, though they could have picked nicer hands I think.
